How can you find more music that you like ?
Well here's a site , www.pandora.com, that helps you find it and i just love it.
how does it work?
Pandora ,Oakland based company , finds music similar to the particular pieces of music you already like, based on a labor-intensive analysis of about 400 characteristics.
They even raised some capital , Crosslink Capital led the $12 million third round, with participation from existing investors Labrador Venture Partners, Selby Venture Partners and WaldenVC, as per VentureWire.
Pandora is now partnering with retailers like Best Buy, where shoppers can use the service in stores.
But the catch is , its a lot of unknown artists and unknown music.Could this become an interesting way of launching new artists.
Then there is www.last.fm which offers similar service.
I just love pandora ,esp the interface , its very simple and easy to use, why dont you guys give it a try
